Personal Trainer in St. Louis

Mary Shocklee

My introduction to fitness started early. I did workout videos at home with my mom and became her gym buddy as soon as I was old enough. I was competitive from the start and always wanted to be the best at everything. I started playing volleyball in 5th grade, fell in love with it, and went on to play select volleyball, training with some amazing coaches and players along the way.

Through all of life's ups and downs, exercise has been my constant. I've always known that no matter how hard something gets, it's even harder if I'm not staying active. Training is how I take care of my mental and physical health, and I want to help you feel that same difference.

I've coached team sports and small group classes, and I love working with people who thought the gym wasn't for them. Maybe you used to train and fell off, or maybe you've never really stepped foot in a gym. Either way, I want to show you that it's attainable, and that you can actually fall in love with it. I focus on strength training, functional fitness, and proper form so you build a body that's strong and moves well.

I love creating a space where you can be yourself and start moving forward. Seeing people push harder than they thought they could is what I live for.

Outside the gym, I'm usually with my two girls enjoying life, hanging out with friends and family, or catching live music. And if there's something a little bit dangerous to try or a new hobby to pick up, I'm probably already in.

Work hard, train harder. Let's get started!
